TOP 5 WAYS TO MAKE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE A PRIORITY
Here's a short poem from Oakey the Kingswood tree...
As I sit here nestled in the ground, all I can hear is an almighty sound, another delighted scream from the thrill of the 3G swing - what a wonderfully exhilarating thing.
Every day I watch the brave, the determined and the hesitant, it really is the best feeling to be a Kingswood resident.
Each day is never the same, the variety of activities makes me exclaim that every young person should give them a go, just take a deep breath and go with the flow.
The laughter and cheers fills me with pride, when every young person goes on a zipwire ride. And in my distant view I get to see the big lake, where paddle boarders and canoeists make it all look like a piece of cake.
But for me what I really enjoy is my visits from Kingsley the squirrel, oh look there’s that group from the Wirral!
I absolutely love seeing what a difference outdoor adventure makes, for every young person and their new best mates.
I look forward to each season, as Kingswood gives children a good reason, to achieve their goals - they really are all very determined souls.
